The owner and architect of this property engaged with me to soften and in-bed the structure of the small dwellings built on this sloping ocean facing property. Using all native species to locate the building within the greater landscape. The site requires careful selection of coastal appropriate species, within a high wind zone, using scale and hierarchy in plants form to frame and preserve significant view shafts, while also creating privacy from bordering properties.
